BOARD MEETING MINUTES

CCWGA Board Meeting Minutes – 11/14/23

The meeting was called to order at Palmira Brandt's home on November 14th at 5:47 pm.

Attendees (14):  Palmira Brandt, Teresa Howard, Lynn Wheeler, Diane Beere, Jo Ann Paul, Jeanine Schreiber, Stef Lee, Patty Lin, Nancy Briest, Linda Fromm, Sandi Rose, Louise Fong, Ann Pons, Bev Cabellon

Approval of minutes from 10/10/23 board meeting:  Captain Teresa Howard asked for approval of the minutes from the last meeting.  Jo Ann Paul made the motion to approve & Lynn Wheeler seconded the motion.  All were in favor.

Finance: Teresa announced that we are on budget for the year.

Holiday Party:

The holiday party information & sign ups are posted on line, thanks to Stef Lee, web chair.  Teresa read the agenda for the holiday party:

-        Teresa will announce the special guests and former CCWGA Captains

-        Lynn Wheeler will be giving out gift cards for Play Day winners and cash for the eclectic winners

-        Cheri Stoudt will announce the 3 most improved players in 2023.

-        Palmira will award the Birdie Bucks

-        Teresa will announce the 2023 Board

-        Palmira will be sworn in as Captain by Linda Fromm and announce the 2024 Board members.

Calendar for 2024:

The 2024 calendar should be available and posted in December.  There was a discussion about Guest Days.  The current plan is to have only one guest day next year.  Jeanine suggested having a second informal Guest Day later in the year, but no decision was made and will be discussed in January. 

New Business: Teresa suggested each chair keep a binder with the history of their position.

Meeting was adjourned at 5:58 pm & Old Board/New Board members met in small groups to discuss each Board member's responsibilities.
