GENERAL MEETING MINUTES

CCWGA General Meeting Minutes 

June 11, 2024 

The meeting was called to order by Captain Palmira Brandt at 1:28 pm. She thanked  Barb Mehan for arranging a delicious lunch. 

Attendees (35): Sue Anderson, Jill Beeman, Diane Beere, Dale Bennett, Palmira  Brandt, Nancy Briest, Bev Cabellon, Judy Donley, Lee Florance, Louise Fong, Valerie  Gertz, Lisa Hatchett, Kyoko Hing, Jennifer Holden, Teri Johnson, Stefanie Lee,  Stephanie Lee, Patty Lin, Barbara Mehan, Mary Miller, Nancy Park, Joann Paul, Darlene  Lethin Patch, Ann Pons, Ellen Putnam, Denise Reed, Pat Rocero, Sandi Rose, Bonnie  Rosenberg, Jeanine Schreiber, Joanne Severs, Susan Smith, Cheri Stoudt, Sheree  Swanson and Nora Wittenburg 

Meeting Minutes from 02/13/24:  

Darlene Lethin Patch moved that the posted minutes from the 2/13/24 general meeting  be approved. Motion was seconded by Joanne Floriani and passed by voice vote. 

Membership: (Nancy Briest) 

Nancy announced that we have two new members: Lynn Morel and Cathy Koubek (neither was present at the meeting).  

Handicap: (Louise Fong):  

Louise explained that we should not be posting our scores on rounds played at Crow  Canyon until the construction on the tee boxes is finished and we are again playing  from the normal positions. She emphasized that all members should be posting scores  for rounds played at other clubs.  

Invitational: (Cheri Stoudt) 

Cheri said that we have 116 players signed up for the 2½ day invitational on July 17- 19. Since the planned construction in the ballroom has been delayed, we will be using  the ballroom and Vintage for the events during the Invitational.  

Team Play: (Stephanie Lee DVTP) 

Stephanie spoke for both EBTP and DVTP and asked everyone to verify which  tournaments they have signed up for and contact Stef Lee if you are no longer available  for any tournament. She needs players on 7/9 for DVTP at Crow Canyon. Stephanie  said that the season is in full swing and we are in first place in DVTP for the net  competition.  

New Business: (Patty Lin) 

Patty said that we are ordering hats from the pro shop with the Crow Canyon logo.  Hats will be red, white or navy blue and will cost about $28. She is collecting orders for  the next two weeks until 6/25. Other requests were for visors and pink hats. 

Major Tournaments: (Linda Fromm) 

Palmira handed out prizes for the Member-Member tournament which concluded today.  We all thanked Kyle for scoring. Winners for flight 1 were: Stephanie Lee and Pat  Rocero and winners for flight 2 were: Pam Guinn and Nancy Park, who  were also the overall low net scoring team.  

Meeting was adjourned by Palmira at 2:06 pm.
